Ten Great Wedding Inspiration Ideas to Boost Your Dry Cleaning Business

Ten Great Wedding Inspiration Ideas to Boost Your Dry Cleaning Business
Ten Great Wedding Inspiration Ideas to Boost Your Dry Cleaning Business

Spring is coming and with it comes wedding season. We wanted to share ideas to help grow your dry cleaning business using social media to tie into the wedding season.

Wedding Inspiration Ideas from Instagram

1. Share from other Instagram accounts

Brides love to plan and many head to Instagram for inspiration. You can use these accounts to help with your own wedding inspiration ideas for your social media accounts. While there isn’t currently a way to share a post on Instagram like you can with Facebook or Twitter, you can curate content by regramming them to your account giving full credit to the account that originally shared it.

The Planoly app is a great tool for Instagram to schedule your content and to regram to your account.  Here’s how to use Planoly’s Instagram shareable links feature:

  1. If you see a post you want to regram while scrolling on Instagram, simply click the three dots in the top right of the image & select Copy Link.
  2. From there, open your Planoly app and click the ‘➕’ on the bottom of your app navigation.
  3. Select Instagram Shareable Link and select Import to add it to your Planoly grid!

2. Use hashtags to find content

Hashtags help make information searchable and easy-to-find. Here’s a list of hashtags you can search to find posts to like and share:

#wedding #weddingdress #weddingbells #weddinginspo

#bride #bridal #bridalgown #weddingdress #weddinggown #romanticwedding #dreamdress #engaged #instabride #laceweddingdress #glamwedding #luxurywedding #lacetrain #dreamgown #weddingtrain #realwedding #weddingideas  #weddingfashion #vintagewedding #modernwedding

3. Add hashtags to your posts to help people you

You can use the above hashtags groups on your photos when you share them on Instagram. Keep in mind that you only want to use hashtags that fit the photo. So if it’s a photo of a bride and groom on their wedding day, #engaged doesn’t work.

4. Follow a theme

Wednesday’s are a great day to post on social media for weddings using the #weddingwednesday hashtag on Twitter or Instagram.

5. Reshare articles from wedding blogs

You can find great things to share on these wedding-themed blogs:

The Knot

Style Me Pretty

Green Wedding Shoes

6. Follow these accounts on Instagram for continuous wedding inspiration

7. Take photos of dresses in your shop

When you have wedding gowns in your shop, take multiple photos for sharing later. There are many details to capture: beading, lace, buttons, textures etc. Use the inspiration accounts for ideas and snap photos with your smartphone. Make sure that you have good light and that the photo is clear.

8. Remind people to bring in their wedding best for cleaning

Spring sales and specials can be focused on the fancy garments people wear to weddings. It’s one of the only places that people dress up any longer so encouraging a seasonal closet cleaning for wedding garb would be helpful for your clients.

9. Use variety in your posts

Taking a cue from the inspiration accounts, keep in mind that all your wedding posts don’t need to be of the wedding dress.

10. Promote occasionally

Every social media post shouldn’t be a sales post, you’ll want to have other content as well. You can decide what mix works best for your company but consider something like 30% promotional, 70% inspirational for social media marketing.

I hope these ideas will spark your interest and bring new clients to your business after you translate them to your social media.

Please share on Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, or Facebook or feel free to regram our Instagram post to your account tagging us.
