Excellent contacts, one of the biggest and most prominent booths and lots of interested visitors: the expectations of German textile care specialist Kreussler regarding the JET Expo were perfectly fulfilled. Now managed by “Messe Frankfurt France,” international companies used the opportunity to present their products and solutions for laundries and dry cleaners in Paris. This year’s JET Expo boasted a sharpened profile: as the French trade show for textile care professionals for all francophonic countries, many visitors came not only from France but Belgium, Luxembourg, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, and other states of the African continent. The professional organization by the new host showed in conferences covering burning issues, including simultaneous translation for foreign visitors, a well-assorted press booth, special rest areas, and a highly competent, accommodating staff, creating an optimal fair experience.

Product quality at one’s fingertips

Thirty-six square meters at the very prominent, widely visited Kreussler booth showed the sustainable and at the same time extremely powerful innovations of the company, like the “classic” Lanadol wet cleaning or special solutions for safely treating PSA. Visitors had the Kreussler product quality truly at their fingertips, thanks to two mannequins integrated into the booth, wearing a PSA jacket with reflecting stripes and a soft cardigan made of a viscose mix. Each had one half of the garment treated with Kreussler products and the other half not treated at all. The direct comparison helped to demonstrate how gentle, professional wet cleaning resp. washing is to textiles.

Deep know-how and individual service

The fair also provided ample opportunity to demonstrate Kreussler’s increasingly important role as an agile partner for industrial laundries in the French market: the highly flexible, cost-effective solutions are finding more and more keen customers in France, and the JET Expo saw many meetings with potential clients. The specialized knowledge of Kreussler was also always in demand; for example, a cleaner of protective gloves sought advise on their thorough cleaning and maintenance. “Especially in France and the Maghreb, we are very well positioned thanks to our extremely customer- and service-oriented technicians,” says Thomas Zeck, Commercial Director of Kreussler Textile Care. “Satisfied customers in the industrial laundry sector are the best advertising for us, and we have been growing steadily for years, especially in France, when it comes to wet cleaning. Since the use of perchloroethylene in textile cleaning will be completely banned here from 2022, environmentally friendly alternatives are in high demand – and the wet cleaning we have invented is, of course, an extremely sustainable solution, with the use of water as a solvent in combination with our biodegradable special cleaning agents of the Lanadol product range. And for dry cleaners who prefer a classic solvent, our SYSTEMK4 offers another environmentally friendly alternative that scores with a super-pure, biodegradable and halogen-free organic solvent that sometimes even surpasses the cleaning performance of perchloroethylene.”
