It’s back-to-school time and if you have teens or tweens this means UGG boot season has begun. UGGs have been popular for several years now so chances are you have a pair or two in your house. UGGs are an investment since they are quite expensive but taking proper care of them can extend their life considerably.
When you first get your Uggs, follow these instructions:
Please treat sheepskin and suede footwear with UGG Australia Sheepskin Protector prior to wearing to avoid any initial staining. Strictly follow the instructions below when applying the product to avoid any damage during the application process.
-
- Spray the sheepskin surface with UGG Australia Sheepskin Protector evenly until it appears wet, but NOT soaked
- Let the boots dry naturally for AT LEAST 24 hours. DO NOT dry in direct heat OR sunlight
- Lightly brush in ONE direction with a VERY soft bristle suede/nubuck brush to raise the nap and natural tracking.
Once you have had them for awhile, they will get dirty and lose their shape from wear.
Did you know that you can take your UGG’s to a dry cleaner for cleaning?
Yes! You can have your UGG boots professionally cleaned and restored to like-new condition. Check with your local cleaner to see if they take UGG’s and you will find that they can return to practically new condition with proper cleaning.
For dry cleaners interested in cleaning UGG boots, please contact Kreussler Inc. for more information.
